Bill Leblanc closed out the tournament as the chip leader when the final six players agreed to a straight chop, earning the title, trophy, and top share of the prize pool. After 9.5 hours of play, Leblanc navigated a dynamic and fast-moving final table, finding momentum at key moments as the field narrowed.
As is often the case deep in tournament play, timing and favorable runouts played a role throughout the closing stages. Leblanc was able to capitalize when opportunities presented themselves, winning several pivotal pots that allowed his stack to grow while others fell by the wayside. By the time the remaining players reached an agreement, Leblanc held the largest stack, securing him the championship honors.
For Leblanc, who calls Maine home, the victory represents the biggest tournament result of his career. His previous results include a fourth-place finish in the Orange City Saturday Super 40’s in July 2025 and a GAPT Bounty win in Orange City in 2024, along with other cashes dating back to the mid-1990s. This win stands as his most significant achievement to date in terms of both field size and overall payout.
Leblanc now heads back to Maine with the trophy in hand, but his return is already planned. He is expected back in action for Multi-Room Mayhem II, running January 7–19, where he’ll look to carry this momentum into another marquee series.
In a game where every deep run requires a mix of patience, timing, and fortune, Bill Leblanc emerged at the right moment to claim the title.
