Five days of action culminated in a memorable finish as Jeffrey Elliott emerged victorious in the Almighty Stack at Daytona Beach Poker. Elliott outlasted a field of 575 entries to capture the championship trophy and the $37,955 top prize from the tournament’s $192,625 prize pool.
The event featured seven starting flights before returning for a marathon Day 2, where Elliott steadily worked his way through a talented field. His final table run included the elimination of Austin Basque in sixth place before he advanced through the remaining competition to reach heads-up play against Clayton Mullinax. Elliott ultimately sealed the victory to earn the largest live tournament cash of his career.
Originally from Georgia and now residing in Central Florida, Elliott entered the event with more than $20,000 in recorded live tournament earnings. While his tournament résumé includes cashes at venues across the country, Daytona Beach Poker has quickly become one of his most successful stops. Earlier this summer, Elliott finished fifth in the Multi-Room Mayhem III, earning $10,100. Less than two months later, he returned to claim one of the property’s marquee titles with his Almighty Stack victory.
With players battling through five days of tournament action before Elliott was the last player standing. His championship adds another name to the growing list of Daytona Beach Poker major event winners and caps another successful edition of the Almighty Stack.
