The Daytona Beach Poker Open continued with Event 7: $300 Mulligan No Limit Hold’em, which drew 58 entries and generated a $14,500 prize pool.
When the final cards were dealt, Renato Moraes emerged as the champion, earning $4,970 for the victory and adding a Daytona Beach Poker Open title to his résumé.
Moraes has been active on the Florida tournament circuit in recent years with a number of cashes across major Seminole Hard Rock series in Tampa and Hollywood, including a 6th-place finish in a Black Chip Bounty event during the 2026 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown and a 38th-place finish in the WPT Seminole Rock ’N’ Roll Poker Open. His results also include several deep runs in Tampa’s Little Slick events and other regional tournaments.
With the win in Event 7, Moraes secures his first title of the 2026 Daytona Beach Poker Open and joins the growing list of players who have captured trophies during this year’s series.
