The first half of Multi-Room Mayhem III is officially in the books, and Daytona Beach Poker closed out its eight starting flights with another strong turnout as players continued their pursuit of a share of the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Flight 1H attracted 94 entries and added 11 more players to the growing Day 2 field. Leading the way was Austin Basque, who bagged an impressive 745,000 chips to claim the Flight 1H chip lead and finish just shy of Shawn Libby’s overall series-leading stack of 759,000.
With all Daytona Beach Poker flights now complete, the event has generated 589 total entries, with 62 players advancing to Day 2. The prize pool currently sits at $117,800 toward the $250,000 guarantee, and seven players have already secured multiple bags, earning bonus payouts while carrying their best stack forward. The average Day 2 stack currently stands at 285,000, while Shawn Libby remains the overall chip leader heading into the Orange City portion of the series. All advancing players will return to Level 13 with 16 minutes and 51 seconds remaining when Day 2 begins.
The action now shifts to Orange City Poker, where the final eight starting flights will determine the remainder of the Day 2 field. Flight 1I begins June 17 at 11:10AM, followed by Flight 1J at 5:10PM. Flights 1K and 1L take place June 18 at 11:10AM and 5:10PM, respectively. Flights 1M and 1N follow on June 19 at 11:10AM and 5:10PM. The final day of starting flights takes place June 20 with Flight 1O at 10:10AM and Flight 1P at 4:10PM, featuring accelerated 20-minute levels.
Day 2 begins June 21 at 11:10AM, with the field playing down to the final six players. Those six will then return on June 22 for Day 3 and the live-streamed final table beginning at 2:30PM.
With more than half of the starting flights complete, nearly 600 entries already recorded, and eight flights still to come, Multi-Room Mayhem III is continuing to build momentum as players chase a spot at the final table and a share of the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool.
