Sunday’s Flight 1H wrapped up the Daytona Beach portion of Multi-Room Mayhem II with another strong showing. The final Daytona Beach flight drew 126 entries, sending 16 players through to Day 2 as the field continues to grow heading into the Orange City portion of the series.
Randall Howell finished Flight 1H as the chip leader, bagging 525,000 and giving himself a solid position for the restart. With one more healthy field added to the mix, Daytona Beach closes out its run with plenty of momentum as the tournament prepares to shift locations.
Overall through the first eight flights, the numbers continue to climb. A total of 778 entries have now been recorded, with 89 players advancing to Day 2. Eleven players have bagged multiple times, taking advantage of the multi flight format and the $1,000 multi bag bonus. The prize pool has reached $155,600 of the $250,000 guaranteed, with the average stack sitting at 233,000. Gil Levy remains the overall chip leader with his 853,000 stack from Flight 1B.
With Daytona Beach now complete, the focus turns to Orange City, where the remaining starting flights will take place beginning Wednesday. There are still plenty of opportunities for players to get in, build a stack, and chase a deep run as Multi-Room Mayhem II continues to build toward the Day 2 restart and the live streamed final table on Monday, January 19.
