Multi-Room Mayhem IV continued Thursday at Orange City Poker with another 195 entries joining the field across Flights 1K and 1L. The strong turnout pushed the tournament to 1,025 total entries and a $205,000 prize pool, bringing the $250,000 guarantee within reach with four starting flights remaining.

Flight 1K attracted 103 entries and advanced 11 players to Day 2. Orlando’s Michael Hunsucker emerged with the flight lead after building a stack of 630,000 units.

Hunsucker brings an extensive tournament résumé into Day 2, with more than $369,000 in recorded live earnings. His career highlights include a seventh-place finish in the 2025 WSOP Circuit Cherokee Main Event for $52,055 and a career-best $110,186 cash for finishing fourth in the 2024 WSOP Circuit Cherokee Main Event.

Christopher Heeney nearly matched that total in Flight 1L, bagging 629,000 units to lead the flight’s 10 advancing players. The evening session recorded 92 entries.

Heeney has accumulated more than $91,000 in recorded tournament earnings and has enjoyed considerable success in Orange City this year. He won a Mystery Bounty event during the May Deep Stack Series and finished second in the series’ Mulligan event. His largest recorded cash came in 2024, when he placed second in a WSOP Circuit Monster Stack event for $49,966.

With Flights 1K and 1L complete, 99 unique players have qualified for Day 2. Several players have taken advantage of the tournament’s best-stack-forward format, producing seven double bags, one triple bag and one quadruple bag. Each additional bag beyond a player’s largest earns a $1,000 bonus from the prize pool and a guaranteed minimum cash.

Maroun Akiki remains the overall chip leader with 713,000 units. When the advancing field returns for Day 2, play will resume in Level 13 with 2:41 remaining.

Day 2 begins Sunday, August 30, at 11:10 a.m., with the remaining players pursuing the $50,000 guaranteed first-place prize and a seat at Monday’s six-player livestream final table.
