Event 9 of the May Deep Stack Series brought another strong turnout to Orange City Poker as players battled in the $300 Mulligan No Limit Hold’em event.
The tournament drew 68 entries, generating a $16,400 prize pool. David Smith was declared the winner following a two-way chop with Christopher Heeney, earning $4,492 along with a $300 seat into Event 11: the Mystery Bounty.
Smith has become a consistent presence throughout tournaments at both Orange City and Daytona Beach, compiling nearly $45,000 in documented live tournament earnings. Recent results include a fourth-place finish in the Orange City Almighty Stack for $9,597, a victory at Gulf Coast Poker’s Pearl River Poker Open series, and multiple wins and final table appearances throughout recurring Orange City events.
