Event 7 of the May Deep Stack Series brought together a strong field of experienced players as the $300 Seniors 50+ No Limit Hold’em event took center stage at Orange City Poker.
The tournament drew 42 entries, generating a $10,000 prize pool. After a hard-fought final table, Scott Nichols emerged victorious following a heads-up match against Hyndi Khomutetesky, earning $3,700 along with a $500 seat into the upcoming Monster Stack event.
Nichols has become a familiar face throughout the Florida poker circuit over the years, compiling more than $66,000 in documented live tournament earnings. His recent results include a runner-up finish in the Orange City Saturday Super 40’s for $7,424, a deep run in the Daytona Beach Poker Open Seniors Event earlier this year, and numerous final table appearances throughout Daytona Beach and Orange City events.
