Event 4 of the May Deep Stack Series brought plenty of action to Orange City Poker as players battled in the $300 Five Card PLO High Only event.
The tournament drew 53 entries, creating a strong field of Omaha specialists and mixed-game regulars. After navigating the action-packed final table, Hoang Tran of Davenport, Florida captured the title and $4,961 in first-place prize money.
Tran may be relatively under the radar, but his strongest results have clearly come in Omaha variants. His career highlights include a sixth-place finish in a $600 Pot Limit Omaha event during the 2024 Lucky Hearts Poker Open for $8,185, along with a runner-up finish in a Pot Limit Omaha event at the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Signature Poker Series for $7,710.
