The Summer Classic $100,000 Guaranteed continues to build momentum as Flights D and E are now complete, bringing players one step closer to Day 2 action.
Flight D belonged to Ashraf Chehata, who put together a dominant run to finish with 603,000 chips, the largest stack of the tournament so far. With his impressive performance, Chehata moves into the overall chip lead heading into the final two starting flights.
In Flight E, Gil Levy topped the field with 413,000 chips, adding another bag to an already remarkable Summer Classic run. Levy’s Flight E finish marks his fourth bag of the tournament.
While several players have already secured their spots in Day 2, there are still two opportunities remaining for players to advance. Flight F is currently underway, and the final starting flight, Flight G, kicks off today at 4:10 p.m.
All surviving players will return for Day 2 tomorrow at 11:10 a.m., where they’ll battle for a spot at the final table and a share of the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Once the field is narrowed, the final six players will return on Monday at 2 p.m. for the Summer Classic Final Table. The action will be live-streamed on YouTube beginning at 2:30 p.m.
