Chandra Wadley’s run in the Quarter Million Multi-Room Mayhem came to a close in 9th place, earning her $7,158 and the distinction of being the event’s last woman standing.
Chandra’s Day 2 was a true display of patience and grit. She spent much of the late stages working with a below-average stack, dipping as low as 1.2 million in chips before finding key doubles to stay alive. At one point she climbed to 2.4 million, then 2.2 million, steadily grinding her way into the final nine players.
While her run ended in 9th, Chandra’s ability to battle from the short stack and outlast more than two thousand entries secured her a place among the tournament’s most notable performances.
