Multi-Room Mayhem III Flight 1M/1N Update

Multi-Room Mayhem III continued to build momentum on Friday as Flights 1M and 1N added another 201 entries to the field, pushing the tournament to 1,085 total entries and within striking distance of the $250,000 guarantee. With just two starting flights remaining, the event has already generated $217,000 toward the prize pool and 115 players have secured their seats for Day 2.

Flight 1M attracted 114 entries, with 12 players advancing. Leading the way was Florida tournament regular Ross Ramlal, who bagged an impressive 654,000 chips. Ramlal brings nearly $94,000 in recorded live tournament earnings and a long track record of success throughout the Florida poker circuit, including deep runs at major events across South Florida.

Flight 1N added another 87 entries and advanced 9 more players to Day 2. The flight was topped by Kirk Mackey, who finished as the chip leader after building the largest stack of the evening. Mackey is no stranger to success in Daytona Beach and Orange City, having recorded multiple victories and final table appearances in Great American Poker Tournaments events over the years.

Despite the strong performances from both flight leaders, Shawn Libby continues to hold the overall chip lead with 759,000. The field now includes 21 multi-baggers, including one player who has successfully bagged four separate flights and five players who have bagged three times. Those extra bags will convert into bonus chips for Day 2, creating additional intrigue as the tournament enters its final qualifying flights.

With 115 players already through and an average Day 2 stack of 283,000, all eyes now turn to the final two starting flights, 1O and 1P, as players make their last attempt to join the Day 2 field and take a shot at the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool.
