The Daytona Beach Poker Open continued Friday with Event 3: $300 Deep Stack Big O, drawing 49 total entries and building a $12,250 prize pool.
After a full day of split-pot action, Michael Bozeman emerged victorious following a heads-up battle with Dante Cianfarra, earning $4,531 for the win.
Bozeman is no stranger to success in Omaha variants. His résumé includes a WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown title in a $400 Omaha 8 or Better event for $11,330, along with numerous deep runs in Big O and mixed games across the country. Earlier this year he also finished 5th in a $300 Big O event at bestbet Jacksonville, showing his continued strength in the five-card split-pot format.
With Event 3 now complete, the Daytona Beach Poker Open continues to roll through its packed schedule of tournaments leading up to the $250,000 Guaranteed Main Event, with a variety of No Limit Hold’em, Omaha, and specialty events still to come throughout the series.
