Event 13: Jim Ralph Leads Flight 1E of the $500 Monster Stack

Flight 1E of Event 13: the $500 Monster Stack wrapped up Saturday afternoon at Orange City Poker as the field continued growing toward the $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The flight drew 83 entries, with 11 players advancing to Day 2. Jim Ralph finished atop the Flight 1E field with 1,143,000 in chips, now the overall chip leader through five starting flights.

Ralph has been a regular throughout Florida poker events for years, compiling more than $59,000 in documented live tournament earnings. Earlier in this May Deep Stack Series, Ralph recorded an 11th-place finish in Event 1: the $300 Kickoff for $2,687. His tournament history also includes multiple wins and final table appearances throughout recurring Orange City and Daytona Beach events.
