Momentum continued to build Thursday morning at Orange City Poker as Flight 1B of the $100,000 Guaranteed $300 Kickoff added another 82 entries to the growing field.
After the field played down to 11 advancing players, Xin Chen emerged as the Flight 1B chip leader with 433,000 in chips.
Chen has been putting together a strong run on the Florida tournament circuit over the last year, highlighted by a victory in the March 2026 SHR Tampa $500 No Limit Hold’em event for $25,990. He also finished runner-up in the April 2026 SHR Tampa One Day $50K tournament for $8,030 and owns several strong results at Orange City Poker, including a Triple Stack Turbo victory in November 2025.
Through the first two starting flights, the $300 Kickoff has now generated:

Rolando Martinez remains the overall chip leader after bagging 501,000 in Flight 1A, while the current returning average stack sits at 223,500.
Players returning for Day 2 are currently scheduled to resume in Level 14 with 12 minutes and 38 seconds remaining on the clock.

Day 2: Sunday, May 17th at 11:10am
With multiple flights still remaining and a best-stack-forward format in play, plenty of opportunities remain for players to build a stack and make a run toward Sunday’s Day 2.
