Friday’s Flight 1D of the $100,000 Guaranteed $300 Kickoff added another strong turnout to the May Deep Stack Series at Orange City Poker, drawing 84 entries and pushing the event closer to its six-figure guarantee.
After the field played down to 11 advancing players, Josh Douglas finished atop the flight with 497,000 in chips, narrowly trailing overall chip leader Rolando Martinez.
Douglas brings an accomplished tournament résumé into Day 2, with nearly $50,000 in documented live tournament earnings. His recent results include a victory earlier this month in the Single Day Spring StAC in St. Augustine for $13,546, along with numerous deep runs across Florida, Las Vegas, and major regional tournament series.
Through four starting flights, the $300 Kickoff has now reached:
- 330 total entries
- 44 players advancing to Day 2
- $82,500 toward the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool
- 3 multi-bag bonuses earned
Rolando Martinez remains the overall chip leader with 501,000, while the current returning average stack sits at 225,000.
Players returning for Day 2 are currently scheduled to resume in Level 14 with 12 minutes and 38 seconds remaining on the clock.

- Flight 1F: Saturday, May 16th at 11:10am
- Flight 1G: Saturday, May 16th at 4:10pm (20-minute levels)

With the guarantee now well within reach, the final weekend flights are expected to produce some of the largest fields of the series so far.
