Daytona Beach Poker Open – Event 1 Flights 1F & 1G Recap

The final two starting flights of Event 1: Almighty Stack No Limit Hold’em wrapped up with strong turnouts as players made their last attempts to bag chips for Day 2.

Flight 1F drew 112 total entries, with 14 players advancing. Ty Wilson finished atop the flight after bagging 2,172,000 chips, one of the larger stacks heading into Day 2 play.

Later in the evening, Flight 1G also attracted 112 entries, sending 9 players forward. Austin Stewart led the flight with 1,595,000 chips to close out the final starting flight of the tournament.

Across all seven flights, the Almighty Stack drew 556 total entries, with 73 players successfully bagging chips for Day 2. The prize pool has grown to $186,260, with first place set to pay $34,147. Three players managed to multi-bag during the opening flights, putting themselves in position for the multi-bag bonus.

When play resumes, returning players will pick up in Level 14 with 1 minute and 6 seconds remaining, with the average stack sitting at 794,000 as the field begins its march toward the final table.
