Daytona Beach Poker Open – Event 1 Flight 1C Recap

Flight 1C of Event 1: Almighty Stack No Limit Hold’em added 45 entries to the growing field, with 6 players advancing to Day 2. Blake Ellinghaus topped the flight and now leads the tournament overall after bagging an impressive 2,690,000 chips.

Ellinghaus is no stranger to deep runs on the regional circuit. Earlier this year he finished 8th in the Daytona Beach GAPT Championship for $4,500 and also made a 5th-place run in the Moneymaker Poker Tour Main Event at Daytona Beach in 2025 for more than $17,000. His strong showing in Flight 1C puts him in prime position as the Almighty Stack continues to build.

After three starting flights, the event has reached 177 total entries, with 24 players advancing to Day 2 so far. The current prize pool has climbed to $59,295, and the average stack among returning players sits at 738,000.

When play resumes, players will return in Level 14 with 1 minute and 6 seconds remaining on the clock as the $150,000 guaranteed Almighty Stack continues toward its remaining starting flights and the eventual Day 2 field.
