Roger Thompson’s run in the Quarter Million Multi-Room Mayhem came to an end in 15th place, earning him $4,001.
Roger’s Day 2 performance was a roller coaster. Starting Level 25 with just 500,000 in chips, he mounted an impressive climb to 4.6 million by Level 28. His momentum came to a halt in a huge pot against Luke Becker, when Roger’s pocket kings ran into pocket aces.
While the hand ended his tournament, Roger’s surge through the late stages was one of the most exciting stretches of play in the event so far.
