Event 14 of the May Deep Stack Series concluded Saturday at Orange City Poker as 87 entries generated a $21,250 prize pool in the $300 Six Max/Six Card PLO High event.
The final three players reached a deal, with Jeff Trudeau taking the largest payout of $5,320 edging out Joseph Stempek for the title. Stempek previously captured Event 3 earlier in the May Deep Stack Series, taking home $4,461 and a trophy in the $300 Deep Stack Big-O event.
Trudeau brings one of the strongest tournament records seen so far during the series, with more than $3.3 million in documented live tournament earnings and numerous major scores across the tournament circuit. His career highlights include a win in the 2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Deepstack event for $352,200, a sixth-place finish in the 2022 WSOP Circuit Cherokee Main Event for $77,351, and a 49th-place finish in the 2021 World Series of Poker Main Event for $136,100.
