Multi-Room Mayhem II – Flights 1B & 1C Recap

Thursday delivered a full day of action at Daytona Beach Poker, as Flights 1B and 1C continued to build momentum for Multi-Room Mayhem II. The morning and evening sessions combined to add more entries, more Day 2 qualifiers, and the first real separation at the top of the chip counts.

Flight 1B led the way with 101 entries, sending 13 players through to Day 2. By the end of the session, Gil Levy had built the largest stack of the series so far, bagging 853,000. That stack not only gave Levy the Flight 1B chip lead, but also positioned him as the overall chip leader after three flights.

The evening Flight 1C added another 53 entries, with 7 more players advancing. Pablo Valdivieso topped that field, finishing the night with 559,000 and giving himself a strong starting position for Day 2.

One of the early storylines of the series has already emerged, as two players have managed to bag twice, taking advantage of the multi-flight format and locking up extra equity along with the $1,200 multi-bag bonus. With so many starting flights still to come across Daytona Beach and Orange City, that number is expected to grow as players continue to fire multiple bullets in search of their best possible stack.

Through the first three flights, 265 total entries have been recorded, with 34 players advancing to Day 2. The average stack currently sits at 234,000, and $53,000 of the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool has already been generated.
