Larry Johnson’s strong run in the Quarter Million Multi-Room Mayhem ended with an 8th-place finish, earning him $9,159.
Larry had been a steady presence near the top portion of the leaderboard for much of Day 2. Earlier in the final stages, he climbed to 6.5 million in chips and remained competitive as the field closed in on single digits. He battled against some of the largest stacks in the room, including multiple chip leaders, and stayed in contention as shorter stacks fell away.
Reaching the final eight of a 2,423-entry field is no small achievement, and Larry’s performance combined patience with timely aggression to push him deep into the payout ladder.
