The Quarter Million Multi-Room Mayhem shifted to Orange City on Wednesday, where Flight 1I kicked off the first of the property’s starting flights. The event drew 164 entries, and by the end of the night, 21 players secured their seats in Day 2.
Steve Cooper closed out the flight as the chip leader, bagging 571,000 in chips. Play wrapped up with 25 minutes left in Level 16, with blinds at 4,000/8,000, after a steady day of eliminations that shaped the final chip counts.
After the completion of Flight 1I, the tournament now stands at 1,006 total entries, with 30,180,000 chips in play and an average stack of 234,000. The lowest ending time from any flight so far is 12:12 in Level 12. If no flight finishes in less time, Day 2 will resume at blind level 2,500/1,500/2,500. Flight 1J is currently underway with 120 entries so far, and registration remains open until 9:30 pm tonight, giving players more time to take their shot at the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool.
