The final starting flight of the $100,000 Guaranteed $300 Kickoff wrapped up Saturday evening at Orange City Poker as Flight 1G Turbo added another 78 entries to the already massive field.
After the fast-paced turbo structure played down to the final 10 players, Joshua Hill secured the Flight 1G chip lead with 587,500 in chips.
Hill continues to gain experience on the Florida tournament circuit with several recent deep runs, including cashes at events in St. Augustine, Jacksonville, and Orange Park over the last two years.
With all starting flights now complete, the $300 Kickoff officially closed with:
- 624 total entries
- $156,000 prize pool
- 77 players advancing to Day 2
The event also featured multiple successful multi-bag attempts, with three players bagging twice and one player, Kim Unger, bagging three separate flights.
Tiago Alves Dos Santos enters Day 2 as the overall chip leader after his dominant Flight 1F performance, finishing with 705,500 in chips.
Day 2 resumes Sunday, May 17th at 11:10am, where players will return already in the money and battle down toward the final table of the opening event of the May Deep Stack Series.
