The Daytona Beach leg of the Quarter Million Multi-Room Mayhem wrapped up Sunday with the final two starting flights. Day 1G brought in 122 entries, advancing 16 players to Day 2, with Aaron Speer bagging the chip lead at 463,000. The evening flight, Day 1H, added 47 more entries and sent 6 players forward, led by Chen Yiyuan with 466,000 in chips.

After eight starting flights in Daytona Beach, the tournament stands at 842 total entries. A total of 108 players have advanced to Day 2, with an average stack of 234,000 chips. Seven players have managed to double bag, earning $1,000 bonuses and guaranteed minimum cash payouts for each additional bag beyond their largest. Dennis Samolinski remains the overall chip leader with 679,000 in chips.

The action now shifts to Orange City, where play resumes Wednesday, August 27, at 11:10 am. With multiple flights still to come, there’s plenty of opportunity for new challengers to join the field and make a run at the $250,000 guaranteed prize pool.
