The penultimate starting flight of the $150,000 Guaranteed Almighty Stack is complete at Daytona Beach Poker, and it proved to be the biggest one yet.
Flight 1F attracted 157 entries, with 20 players advancing to Day 2. Clayton Mullinax topped the field, bagging 1,645,000 chips. While Mullinax may have a modest tournament résumé compared to some of the previous flight leaders, he made the most of his opportunity. The Florida, native has more than $10,900 in recorded live tournament earnings, highlighted by an 18th-place finish in the 2022 Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Winter Poker Open Championship. He’ll now take one of the larger stacks into Sunday’s Day 2 as he looks to add another deep run to his growing résumé.
