The event drew an impressive 826 entries, generating a total prize pool of $206,500, more than double the original guarantee. A total of 105 players advanced to Day Two, all securing a payout. From there, the field steadily narrowed as players vied for the top prize and the title. In the end, Le Tieu of Jacksonville, FL, claimed the victory. Tieu topped the field to win $35,328 and the Summer Classic title. The Summer Classic once again delivered a strong turnout and big payouts, cementing its place as a premier stop on the Daytona Beach Poker calendar. Congratulations to Le Tieu on the win!
